Besides its natural beauty, Croatia has been a part of Europe and a center of culture for at least 2000 years. Croatia has stood for centuries on the very borders of Western and Eastern cultural influences. East coast of the Adriatic has been inhabited as early as the beginning of early Stone Age. The Greeks, Romans, Venetians, Napoleon and Austro-Hungarians ruled with our land throughout centuries and that's what makes the Croatian culture, cultural heritage and artistic contribution unique in Europe.
